Who’s behind Zinjenzo?

Jennifer Schoen, M.Ed, is the creator of Zinjenzo. She has spent the last 20+ years in higher education at a variety of colleges. Jennifer has been an invited presenter at the Seattle National College Fair for 5 consecutive years. Her “Fantastic Four: Tips On Writing A Great College Essay” presented to guidance counselors, GEAR UP staff, and high school students and their parents have received rave reviews from participants and other college admissions colleagues.

“I heard students a week later referring to tips Jennifer had shared on writing and proofreading their essays. They were talking about her Bowflex technique and the deadly disease, Thesaurusitis. I’ve never heard students quote one of our speakers.” – Rona K., High School Guidance Counselor

“My students wanted to know if we could bring Jennifer back as a speaker for the seniors. It says a lot that they remembered her talk on writing a great essay a year later and wanted to hear her again.” – Becky H, College Success Foundation staff
